Histoires: Family Portraits

February 16, 2022

5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. ET

Everyone is invited to this lecture by retired Associate Professor Yvan Cazabon, which will take place on Zoom.

Topic:Yvan Cazabon will impart the special circumstances by which a face-to-face course structure presented a live performance by the Theatre Production Workshop during the pandemic-affected winter terms of 2021. Last winter, the workshop was given a special pilot project status in order to experiment with live performances with various modalities of making, experiencing, and dissemination. Thematically, the workshop focused on family relationships, closeness and distance.Cazabon will also describe the compiling and archiving of artifacts generated by decades of student and faculty projects at Carleton. The creation of an archive — named ArkHive — will be presented as a portrait of the school and its family of student contributors, alumni, and faculty.
