Photo Gallery: Hobin Prize in Architecture & City Building Awards Ceremony
March 10, 2022
The third annual Hobin Prize in Architecture & City Building award ceremony took place on March 2 in the PIT at the Architecture Building.
“It’s wonderful to see so many people,” said Interim Director Federica Goffi, noting that the in-person event signaled a gradual return to campus. Due to the pandemic, most events have been online for the past two years.
“I know we all want to be back to normal,” she said. “This event is the second opportunity for us to use the PIT in this way and to come together as a community to celebrate.”
The prize recognizes excellence in the fourth-year undergraduate housing and city-building studio at the Azrieli School of Architecture & Urbanism.
Four student projects that explore the potential of urban housing on redevelopment sites in Ottawa received awards. In total, $4,000 in prize money went to the winners. See the winning projects here.
