Rowan Moore is the architecture critic of the Observer in the United Kingdom, and his writing appears regularly in the Guardian newspaper. Moore was named Critic of the Year in 2014 at the British Press Awards.
His book Slow Burn City published in 2016 by Picador explores the unprecedented transformations of London in the 21st century. His previous book Why We Build appeared in 2012 and received the international Bruno Zevi Book Award.
Moore was formerly Director of the Architecture Foundation in London, architecture critic of the Evening Standard and editor of Blueprint magazine. He studied architecture at the University of Cambridge. Moore can be followed on Twitter: @rowanmoore.
