Bursaries – Undergraduate

C.T. Hobin Bursary

Awarded annually to deserving Ontario students in financial need who are in good academic standing. Recipients are to be either students in the Third or Fourth year of the Bachelor of Architectural Studies, the Bachelor of Humanities programs, or the Enriched Support Program. Recipients will have demonstrated financial need, must be Canadian Citizens or permanent residents of Canada (landed immigrant or a protected person), and must meet OSAP’s Ontario Residency requirements. Undergraduate students in the Third or Fourth year of the Bachelor of Architectural Studies must apply on Carleton Central. This bursary is valued at $4,000 (value may vary).

Evelyn and Earl Langill Bursary

Awarded annually to deserving students in the Bachelor of Architectural Studies program who require financial assistance in order to continue their studies. Endowed in 2000.

The Bachelor of Architectural Studies students must apply on Carleton Central.  This bursary is valued at $500. Value may vary.

John E. Ruddy Bursary

Awarded annually to deserving full-time undergraduate students proceeding from second year to third year or third year to fourth year in the Bachelor of Architectural Studies program at Carleton University. Eligible recipients must be members of a recognized varsity team at Carleton University. Endowed in 1997 by John E. Ruddy, B.Arch. 1975.

Bachelor of Architectural Studies students must apply on Carleton Central. 

Undergraduate Bursary

Granted to undergraduate students on the basis of financial need. The undergraduate bursaries do not have to be repaid. It supplements and does not replace a student’s primary source of funding such as OSAP, government student financial assistance from another province or loan funding from a financial institution.

Undergraduate students must apply by June 30 on Carleton Central. Bursary values vary.

Z. Matthew Stankiewicz Bursary  

Awarded annually to a deserving student requiring financial assistance, who is entering or is enrolled in the Azrieli School of Architecture and Urbanism at Carleton University. Donors: Friends, relatives and associates of the late Z. Matthew Stankiewicz.
