About Edition 20
Edition 20 of the school’s signature publication is a specially produced set of five folios, reminiscent of the Carleton folios of the 1980s and 1990s.
Part of the reason for this special production is the unique circumstance of the year in quarantine, as the editors Maya Jarrah and Enid Huang sought a way to make this edition more memorable. Also, the pending retirements of Associate Professors Roger Connah and Yvan Cazabon gave an opportunity to add to the legacy of both faculty members.
Connah contributed an essay on the future of architectural pedagogy, which is included in Folio 2. Cazabon advised the editors on the tradition of the folios and gave a vision for the set. Digital Craft Technician Steve MacLeod designed a bespoke slipcase in laser-etched Plexiglas and wood.
