November 24, 2022
A Carleton University researcher focusing on occupant comfort, resilience and energy use in buildings collaborates with researchers from other departments, including architecture, for a “holistic understanding.”
Carleton Newsroom has published a story, How People Use Buildings is a Key Contributor to Energy Efficiency, about the work of Professor Liam O’Brien, of Civil and Environmental Engineering, principal investigator in the Human-Building Interaction Lab.
His collaborators include Architecture Professor Stephen Fai, director of the Azrieli School of Architecture & Urbanism’s Carleton Immersive Media Studio and Professor Gabriel Wainer, of the Department of Systems and Computer Engineering.
