Project Description
The objective of this series of images was to explore the effect of colour on a piece which had originally been black and white. Works of art by Perry Culper and James Turrel were looked to as precedents for the chosen color palettes. Images with the same composition, and subject matter can be transformed drastically through changes in colour. This series of images uses colour to highlight different aspects of the same original image, causing certain objects to pop in some scenes, while retreating into the background in others.
