Project Description

This project explores a personal experience within the city. It compares and contrasts two different cities, Ottawa and Toronto.

Where the image grid tracks the set moments throughout the day, the spatial illustration shows the transition of space and the links between the set moments. It speaks to the experience of remembering moments from the urban environment that is known and loved to moments in a new environment that can feel different and desolate.

Ultimately, comparing these encounters against each other makes it challenging to enjoy the new. Within this comparison of moments themes such as limits and restrictions are revealed.
