Project Description

This analytical drawing focuses on the dairy farm building at the Cumberland Heritage Village Museum in Ottawa. The drawing studies the south façade and its relation to the architectural detail of the building that joins the structural members together found behind the façade. The analysis studies the use of wood pins as a joining element between the wood members. The use of reclaimed wood in the structure is also emphasized, as the drawing points out holes that were used in previous wood joinery techniques.
