Vanishing Points: Abolition and Spatial Infrastructures of Harm

November 30, 2020

6:00 – 8:30 pm

Cities, housing, monuments, trees, bridges and many other artefacts of our built environment have hidden agencies that systematically oppress, conceal and marginalize Black, Indigenous and racialized people across time and space.

We are honored to invite you all to join us in our first discussion in our Vanishing Points Series with the theme: Abolition and Spatial Infrastructures of Harm on November 30th at 6:30. Visiting-Critic-in-Practice Mario Gooden will moderate the event. The speakers, artist and community activist Syrus Marcus Ware and.writer and professor Daniel McNeil, will be engaged in conversation exploring how systematic oppression manifests through the production of space.
